Swimming
Our swimmers have done us proud at the National Level. The 25 meter swimming pool has a parallel splash pool where the budding talents may be spotted in their very childhood to be initiated into specialized training for professional swimmers. The school is now among the veterans winning the CBSE national championship three times consecutively together with thrice the CBSE north zone championship. The school swimmers are regular participants of the Sub Junior, Junior and Senior Open Nationals winning a bunch of medals every year.
Basketball
The institution has three Basketball courts at different venues and students are coached in the mornings and evenings. The school teams participate at the district and state levels in different age groups.
Cricket
The school cricket teams have shown their prowess at the district, state and national levels. In cricket too the institution runs an academy for outside students, in the evenings supervised by two qualified coaches.
Skating
The students of GIS have been participating in several invitationals, district and state-level skating tournaments under the able supervision of a qualified coach.
Lawn Tennis
GIS has a state-of- the- art synthetic court for lawn tennis and also boasts of an evening academy for outside students.
Hockey
The school has proper hockey fields in which students are trained for competitions.
Table Tennis
Sophisticated equipment has been provided for the table tennis players.
